Old Covington Ranch
This 2,500 square feet, three bed two bath got a massive gut renovation to create more living space and fix the flooding occurring on the back porch. The accountant-turned-nurse wanted to add value to the home while creating a timeless, relaxed, luxury look. Each room takes you on a different journey, the primary has an Asian influence while the guest room feels more like a day at the beach. The living room and family room were left more neutral and transitional, while the dining room takes you on a journey to Spain or Mexico. The goal was to make a transitional place that would stand the test of time, classic not too modern, that would blend with preexisting items.
Gut Reno Redeux
This historic home started with 50s-style decor and pink tile in the bathroom complete with a back porch that flooded every time it rained. We closed in the porch to create a, leveled out then raised the floor making it into a new family room, and added a Dutch door to the space. The renovation was complete until Hurricane Ida came along and a tree fell through the house, creating the need for another refresh.
Complete Kitchen Update
The kitchen received cosmetic updates including a fresh coat of paint. The floor and countertops were replaced, reclaimed doors were used for the new pantry space, new cabinet pulls were added, new appliances were installed, and a banquette to add more seating along with a new kitchen table and light fixture.
Empty Nest Revamped
The primary bedroom has an Asian-inspired design with a tiger Roman Shade hanging on the wall. One of the other bedrooms was turned into a home office and also boasts a work out room. The last remaining room is a beachy-feeling guest room with a mirror front dresser.
The last phase for the home is working to add pavers to the back patio, a sugar kettle, and a koi pond in the atrium.
