About Tanga
As a child growing up on a farm in North Carolina, I always had a wild imagination and a need to create and explore. Nature has always inspired and informed my design choices.
After years in marketing, sales, and fashion, I finally found my niche in the wonderful world of interiors. I spent time studying in North Carolina and London before making my home here in the textured city of New Orleans. With more than 20 years of design experience, including 12 years managing a furniture showroom in New Orleans, I use this diverse array of experience to broaden my scope of design possibilities.
For me, design isn’t something I can just switch off; it is always present – especially when I travel. My job is to convey the creative ideas and problem-solving solutions to the client and hope they are as excited as I am about seeing them come to life.

In My Personal Time
When I’m not working, I enjoy exploring the rich culture found around every corner of New Orleans. I spend my time listening to live music, attending art openings, going for walks, cooking, gardening, diving into history, experiencing the local architecture, and traveling abroad.
